# BEgreen® CO₂

Compression is the most capital and operating expense intensive portion of most CO2 sequestration.  Developed for compressing 0 psig CO2 streams from ethanol production facilities to pipeline or underground injection pressures.  **Instead of traditional mechanical compression, BEgreen®™ CO2 utilizes a patent pending process involving multi-stage liquid piston displacers, CO2 condensation, and multi-stage centrifugal pumps.**

#### Lower Cost:

- CapEx: $0.75 per MMSCFD (0 - 2,200 psig)
- OpEx: 13% more efficient than reciprocating compressors
- Simpler hydraulic design
- Lower horsepower electrical requirements

#### Non-Positive Displacement:

- Centrifugal pump liquid piston displacer
- Reduced overpressure risk
- Less wear on parts due to less friction

#### Immune to Carryover:

- Liquids pass through displacer without harm
- Process liquids or inexpensive fluids can be used
